Come on down to the boathouse and help drive up funds to support your local RNLI lifesavers. Your kindness can save lives this summer.

For a suggested donation of £10, Hoylake RNLI volunteers will scrub, rinse and polish your cars to leave them looking ship-shape!

We clean the mud, sand and salt water from our lifeboat, hovercraft and tractors after every rescue, so why not let us clean your car too.

The Mayday campaign comes as the RNLI releases rescue data from 2025, which shows lifeboats across Merseyside launched 107 times last year, up from 89 launches in 2024. At Hoylake RNLI lifeboat station, the volunteer crew assisted 11 people and saved one person from drowning as they launched to the rescue 31 times.

As we head into our busiest time of year, every penny helps us continue to save lives at sea. Warmer weather draws more people to the water, and Hoylake RNLI’s volunteer will drop everything to launch to the rescue when a call for help comes in.
