KWANZAA is a family-oriented Black Consciousness Fest that brings together diverse communities to celebrate our collective achievements and inspire deeper collaboration. It is inspired by the many indigenous harvest festivals observed around the Afrikan continent since ancient times.
The theme for 2025 is: “Knowing Land – Knowing Self.”
This theme invites us to reflect on the profound relationship between land and identity in Afrikan cosmology. In Afrikan thought, land is not merely terrain — it is memory, spirit, and inheritance.
The Opening Ceremony will feature:
🌍 Ceremonial opening and libation
🎶 Musical performances
🎤 Inspirational speeches
👧🏾 A vibrant children’s program
🍲 Delicious food stalls
🛍 A grand African market
FREE ADMISSION!
We welcome all Afrikan children, women, men and Elders - to a communal soul-booster!
