# Event Details - **Event Name**: Oconee Hoppers Rabbit Club Monthly Meeting - **Event Start and End Date**: Mon, 08 Sep, 2025 at 05:30 pm – Mon, 08 Jun, 2026 at 06:30 pm (-04:00) - **Event Description**: Furry Friends Rabbit Club meets Second Mondays (Sep - Nov, Feb - June) 5:30pm at the Oconee Extension Office in WalhallaAbout this EventJoin other 4H members learning to identify rabbit breeds, how to properly care for rabbits, how to prepare them for showing (how to prepare yourself for showing), essential rabbit knowledge. Club members can run for office, and learn the basics of meeting logistics. More importantly, they get to hang out with other 4H members who think rabbits are cool, hold and pet beautiful creatures, and share a ton of laughter!You do not need to own a rabbit to attend the meetings and join the club. You do need to be a ($15/annually). It is OK to attend your first meeting without being a 4H member (club members are encouraged to invite friends to come check the club out), but if you intend to return or participate in club events, you must sign up (the 4H year runs from the first of September to the end of August - there are additional incentives to registering during September).
