# BLOCK BY BLOCK

You are invited to a special session of the Brunch Bunch where you will learn how to begin the process of Building Beloved Communities, block by block. In his memoir, John Lewis referred to beloved communities as kind, inclusive, nonviolent, caring, not separated or polarized.  

The purpose of this session is to show you, step by step, how you can begin building a true sense of “community” in your neighborhood. You will be taken through the process so that you can ultimately develop an action plan to execute this in your community.  Building beloved communities involves establishing personal relationships, initiating solid connections, building trust, & improving our sense of safety & belonging.

This is a special, open-to-all session of the OCDP Brunch Bunch, a monthly - pot luck brunch for pro-democracy women in Oconee County. Please feel free to come without a dish because your presence is more precious than your food. Please be sure to register so we can have enough “brunch n beverage” for all.
