- **Event Description**: Join us for a playful introduction to yoga designed especially for young children and their families! Through songs, stories, a craft and imaginative games, we’ll explore yoga poses that help build strength, focus, and executive function skills—all in a fun, family-friendly environment.
This fun class is designed for children ages 2½ – 8.  Children are Welcome with a Caring Adult. Cost $10 per participant.
Together, we’ll use our imaginations to learn how to breathe, stretch, and move mindfully. This class is a perfect way for parents and children to connect, move, and discover the joys of yoga side by side.
The format for family yoga will be: basic stretch poses, learning to breathe in child friendly ways (birthday candles, five fingers, and more), yoga story of the day, games, creating a craft together and ending with a period of rest.
Themes for the monthly classes will be: September – Celebrating Fall/Leaf Dancing, October – Pumpkins and Scarecrows,  November – Giving Thanks,  December – Celebrating the Holdays. 
No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play!  $10 per participant
