Lactation Class

This seminar is for anyone planning to breast, chest, or body-feed—or currently navigating the realities of lactation. We’ll cover common feeding challenges like painful nursing, nipple damage, low or oversupply, engorgement, plugged ducts, and slow weight gain, with practical, real-life solutions. We’ll talk through alternate feeding methods (bottles, SNS, pumping, and combination feeding), because one size absolutely does not fit all. You’ll also learn how to make pumping work for you, prepare for returning to work as a lactating parent, and understand how to manage issues like mastitis, thrush, blebs, and vasospasms if they arise.

Finally, we’ll discuss tethered oral tissues (“ties”) in a clear, non-directive way—so you leave informed, empowered, and confident to make the best decisions for your family.
