The Mahwah Health Department partners with Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission and Valley Health System to offer free child health services every month for eligible residents. Appointments are required and services include a physical exam, immunizations (vaccines), and guidance on health-related questions or issues.

If your child is covered by any insurance plan, they are NOT eligible for CHC services. Please see your pediatrician for vaccines and checkups.

If your child is uninsured or receives benefits under Medicaid Part A, they ARE eligible for CHC services.

The CHC is held at 22 Whites Lane in Waldwick, NJ from 9:00am to 12:00pm on the third Wednesday of every month. Please call (201) 291-6147 or (201) 291-6337 to make an appointment.

The CHC dates remaining for this year are November 19 and December 17.

NOTE: Referrals for additional services such as sports physicals may be made to the Earl A. Wheaton, Jr., MD Family Care Center in Ridgewood. Services are available for individuals with or without insurance. For more information, visit the Family Care Center's website or call 201-689-3900, option 1 to make an appointment.
