This annual event with the generosity of sponsorships and supporters is our primary source of income. It enables us to continue to sponsor annual scholarships.The Southern Maryland Alumni Chapter was officially chartered on May 14, 2005.Since its inception, we have awarded over $80,000 in scholarships to deserving Morgan students from Southern Maryland. The chapter has progressed to the point that we now offer our scholarships on a recurring basis for up to four years of undergraduate study at Morgan.The program will start at 7 p.m. and will be held at Waldorf Jaycees Community Center located at 3090 Crain Highway, Waldorf, MD 20601. We will provide networking opportunities, feature speakers and entertainment.In addition to purchasing tickets to support this program we offer an opportunity to sponsor full page ads in our souvenir booklet which will list the evening’s activities. You also may sponsor a patron message of 2 lines of text as well as purchase raffle tickets.Payments for patron messages and ads are due by August 1, 11:59pm. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
