Ukrainian Egg Dying Workshop

Join HSW for an egg-cellent craft workshop perfect for adults and crafty kids ages 10 and up.

Participants will learn the traditional art of decorating eggs using wax and dye. Patterns are first drawn onto the egg with wax, which protects those areas from the dye. As additional layers of wax and different dye colors are added, beautiful multi-colored designs begin to emerge. In the final step, the wax is removed to reveal the finished pattern.

All craft materials are provided, and each participant will take home their completed egg as a unique keepsake.

Come get creative, learn something new, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon while supporting the animals at HSW.
