“Last year, my 18-year-old son, Patrick, joined Best Buddies, and I raised $6000 by riding in their inaugural NYC-to-Hudson Valley Century. It was a fantastic experience, especially when Patrick and his brother Aidan joined me for the final stretch, with Patrick on his Rifton mobility trike and Aidan running alongside him. Now we're back for another year! 
…Patrick continues to be our inspiration. Pat lives with multiple disabilities. He is turning 19 this summer, and is an enthusiastic member of the Best Buddies Citizens’ Program. Patrick brings energy, warmth, and curiosity wherever he goes - and Best Buddies keeps opening new doors for him to grow, connect, and truly belong.”
