That shortlist was put to a publlic vote in late July/early August and we will be announcing the final 50 at our special event which we are holding as part of Heritage Open Days 2026. Come along and hear about 'The Story of Wakefield in 50 Objects'.Please note that we will be taking photographs of the event to help us promote the work of the Society.
