🎄 Taste of Wakefield — A Christmas Story Night! 🎄
Thursday, December 5th • 5:00–7:00 PM
Get ready to step right into the magic of A Christmas Story as downtown Wakefield fills with holiday cheer, tasty treats, and classic Christmas nostalgia!
From 5–7 PM, local businesses will be open late—with double stamps on the Holly Jolly Promotion for qualifying purchases. It’s the perfect chance to finish your shopping… without shooting your eye out!
Wander through the stores and the Wakefield Fire Hall to enjoy delicious samples that would make even the Bumpus hounds behave. At the Fire Hall, kids can visit Santa, sip hot cocoa, decorate cookies, and enjoy festive activities—because no one should be left “triple-dog-dared” to have fun.
At 6:30 PM, gather outside the Little Red Hen Theatre as we light the community Christmas tree and cast a warm glow over Main Street—just like a major award (only less fragile).
And to top it all off, stick around for the Little Red Hen Theatre’s opening night of the live production of A Christmas Story at 7 PM. It’s the perfect way to end an evening full of holiday spirit and small-town charm.
