- **Event Description**: Roots Hoot House Concerts welcomes Spring with a good ol' fashioned Saturday afternoon Rock & Roll show with a couple of legendary cats, RAY MASON and ERIC "ROSCOE" AMBEL, joining forces for we're thinking is the first time for a live show. Between them, these two fellows have some major credentials. A consummate pro and considered one of the storied figures of the Northampton, MA music scene, Ray's catalogue includes numerous  records as a solo artist, with the Ray Mason Band, and as a founding member of The Lonesome Brothers. Guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer Eric Ambel founded rockers The Del-Lords and The Yayhoos and has played with artists from Joan Jett to Steve Earle and countless others, not to mention producing bands from the Bottle Rockets to Blue Mountain to Marshall Crenshaw. It all goes down on Saturday, April 11. Doors are at 3:15 pm and show starts at 4 pm. This is a BYOB-only event. Reservations are first-come-first-served.
