Pole Work Competition inc BD tests
Pole work tests are based on the Scales of Training with set pole patterns and requirements.
Three class levels - each level will have two pole pattern classes available to enter and a BD test option.

All pole work tests will be starting on the outer track, no centre line entry or scary judge at C !
BD tests will run as usual Unaff. competition.

Class 2 - A2
Class 3 - BD 2026 Intro 1
Poles A
Working with the scales of training expected at Intro level dressage with pole patterns and requirements included.
Class 4 - B1
Class 5 - B2
Class 6 - BD 2026 Prelim 1
Poles B
as Poles A with a Preliminary level dressage expectation.
Class 7 - C1
Class 8 - C2
Class 9 - BD 2026 Novice 1
Poles C
as poles A with a Novice level dressage expectation.
Class 10 - BD 2026 Elementary 1
Class 11 - BD 2026 Medium 1
Class 12 - BD 2026 Ad Medium 1
Judged on the way of going within the scales of training, accuracy, fluency over poles, overall riding presentation and harmony.
BD 2026 tests judged as directed.
BD permitted tack only.
Wear any suitable safe attire.
Each entry is £12.
Rosettes 1st - 4th in each class.
£20 prize money to winner of each level combined until classes 10,11 & 12 where winning score of those three classes combined will win prize money.
In the event the scores are equal the prize money will be split between all equal winners.
Score sheets to take home.
Warm up with use of poles in outdoor arena.
Test indoors.
Invited Bd judge - tbc
Entries close Thursday before at 9pm or before if full.
Refreshments will be available all day.
Dogs are NOT allowed out of vehicles anywhere on site, sorry
