The session will be delivered by our Advanced Recovery Practitioner, who has extensive experience in substance use recovery and harm reduction.The training will cover:What naloxone is: An overview of naloxone, how it works, and why it's important in the fight against opioid overdoses.How to use naloxone: A step-by-step guide on how to administer naloxone safely and effectively in an emergency situation.Recognising an opioid overdose: Learn the signs of an opioid overdose and the importance of acting quickly.What to do in an overdose situation: Participants will be trained on how to respond to an overdose, including the use of naloxone.
