This is a fundraiser for Cooperative Biblioterre - an organization for people looking to build community through shared land, mutual aid, and collective stewardship.
Cooperative Biblioterre offers a model for sharing lands, buildings, tools and resources that we refer to as a Land Library.

All funds raised will go towards supporting the co-op as we work toward our goals of building an affordable housing co-op, putting Land Back into practice, offering agricultural land opportunities to marginalized folks and protecting wildlife and wildlife habitat.

ACCESSIBILITY
The garden barn, where most activities are happening, is situated right next to the road. It has uneven terrain and no paved paths. The area for setting up tents will be slightly further away and include uneven, bumpy terrain and narrow paths through grass to access. All events will be held outdoors. In case of rain, several structures will allow for shelter. There will be some KN95 masks on site.

There are multiple outdoor bathrooms and an outdoor shower. There is limited drinking water on-site. Campers will require everything they need to feel comfortable and meet their needs eg. tent, sleeping system, cooking system, food and water. If you are lacking let us know and we can help source loaners. Some indoor accommodations instead of camping may be available to people with disabilities.

Heat and bugs are to be expected - we will have shaded and bug-proofed areas available, please come prepared with bug deterrent, sunblock, appropriate clothing, (maybe a personal fan), and plenty of water.

If you are interested in coming and have accessibility needs please get in touch and we will try our best to meet them.

Transportation from Ottawa is being arranged - please contact us if you'd like help with this!
