STEPtember Statewide Walking Challenge

September is fall prevention awareness month. To bring awareness to the importance of preventing falls, Prosper PT & Wellness is organizing group walks and socials around the town of Wake Forest, in our parks, and on our greenways. Each week, the number of steps taken by our group will be reported to the North Carolina Falls Prevention Coalition’s statewide challenge to promote physical activity.

The kick off for our team will be on the morning of September 1st at the Smith Creek Soccer Park at 8:30am. You don’t want to miss it!

Walks will be scheduled throughout the month at various places and times. You don't have to attend the group walks to be a part of our team. Register and walk on your own if you like, and send us your steps each week.
