This latest body of work was created to tell the story of healing after being in a traumatic car accident. Some pieces show the suffering while others show seeds of hope. Life is a journey that’s not always what we planned and hoped for, but to look for the light and adjust to this new way of being.

Sherryn is a ceramic artist inspired by the beauty of this world.  She started making ceramics in 2010 and creates mostly hand built pieces from her studio which is tucked away in the Karekare bush.

She is influenced by her love of nature and connectedness of all things. The health of the environment being physical and mental is often incorporated in an artwork. When not creating ceramics, Sherryn is thinking about her next piece.

She hopes you enjoy her ceramics as much as she has enjoyed making them.
