​Event Details

​On Saturday, February 14th 2026, you can choose to walk, run, or ride a self-guided, clearly marked 10km or 20km loop.

​• Location: Private Farm and Forestry, South Head Area.

​• Routes: Self-guided 10km and 20km loop options.

​• Views: Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views spanning the Kaipara Harbour, the West Coast (Muriwai), Tapora, and Sand Island. This is a truly unique opportunity you won't want to miss!



​Key Timings

​7:00 am: Gates Open

​8:00 am: Runners & Walkers Start (Set off at your own pace.)

​8:30 am: Riders Briefing (Compulsory for all riders.)

​8:35 am onwards: Riders Start (Staggered departures in groups at 5-10 minute intervals.)



​Important Note for Riders: Please bring your own horse. This is a strictly walking-only pace for all horses and riders.



​Tickets and Refreshments

​• Your ticket price includes a delicious sausage sizzle and a slice of cake upon your return!

​• Cold drinks will be available to purchase on the day.
