We are very excited to host you all again, and are planning a few special surprises for you as well! This campout weekend is focused on Lees-ure Lite/Excel ll trailers, however EVERYONE is welcome! Tents, trailers, motorhomes, or even just a tarp…. You are welcome to join the fun! If you are bringing a motorhome or large trailer we ask you book a separate site as the large group site is reserved for guests with tents or small trailers. As for the camping… Riverdale Mini Park is the location, just north of Wainwright, Alberta, Canada on Highway #41. It is a simple camping weekend, designed for like-minded people from all different walks of life! Here is the layout of the weekend: Friday, August 14 Show up, check in and get set up! Supper is Blockbuster Burgers and Chips (Show up late? No problem, we will get one warmed up for you.) Settle in , introduce yourself to others, meet new friends and become reacquainted with old friends! Enjoy some relaxing time by the fire. Saturday, August 15 Breakfast!!! COFFEE!!! Picture Perfect Pancakes and Silver Screen Sausages Throughout the day, you decide! Hang out at the site, enjoy some games, visit more people. Head out on the road, check out local sites, go for lunch! In the afternoon we will judge the decorations and costumes! Don’t want to participate in the contest? No problem, we just want you to have a good time, no matter what that looks like! Saturday night special! Soap Opera Steak Supper No drama here, just an amazing steak, salad, baked potato and the always amazing beans! After supper it’s time for the Academy Awards ! (Absolutely amazing prizes!😂) Some quick thank yous and a bunch of laughs. Fire pit fun! Sunday, August 16 COFFEE!! Shelley’s amazing Hollywood Hash Start the task of packing up and heading home. And sadly, that is the end of this fabulous weekend. Cost: $65 per person Plus camp fees of $15 per night per camper. This is for all the Lees-ure Lite/Excel ll campers , tents and other small camp trailers in the big group site! There is no need to pre-book a spot, unless you are taking a private site. It seems every year people plan to come a day or two early and that is fine. The event is officially from Friday noon to Sunday noon. Our special rate for camping starts Friday.
