A get together fish at Hawai beach just before the Totem poles, look for the flags! a good chance to meet other like minded people for a few hours fishing on Saturday and then meet up again at the clubhouse for weigh in on Sunday. You are free to continue fishing after anywhere between West end Ohope to the Kereu river Te Kaha including the Ohiwa harbour and Opotiki river entrance. All fish must be gilled and gutted and of legal size for mpi rules Kahawai must be 35cm. NO SHARKS OR EELS will be weighed.
