Wolfgang Terne gewann 2019 aus dem Stand den Deutschen Rock & Pop Preis in der Kategorie „beste Coverband“ mit MAFFAYpur. Die MAFFAYpur Band besteht aus Musikern, die ihre Sporen u.a. bei PUR, Herbert Grönemeyer, Thomas Anders verdienten. „Über sieben Brücken“, „Es war Sommer“, „So bist Du“, „Josie“ – alle großen Hits von Peter Maffay an einem Abend. Musik von 1970 bis heute – das ist der Soundtrack des Lebens – sei dabei!
