"A Fundraising Evening with Felicia Djamirze
Tuesday 11 November, 7:00pm – Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre
Felicia Djamirze is a counsellor, an advocate for women’s justice, a three-time Miss Australia winner — and a former gangland girlfriend who was once convicted of drug trafficking.
Raised in one of Sydney’s toughest neighbourhoods, Felicia’s early life was overshadowed by addiction, violence, and crime. Growing up in a family deeply affected by drugs and the criminal underworld, she learned early what survival meant. Drawn to the world of beauty pageants, Felicia believed she had finally found a way out — a chance to reinvent herself and escape the chaos around her. But behind the glamour, her life told a very different story.
In her twenties, Felicia became trapped in a relationship with a bikie gang member and endured years of brutal domestic violence. Later, during another relationship, she was caught in a police raid that would alter the course of her life. Accepting responsibility for her involvement in drug trafficking, she served her sentence and emerged determined to rebuild. Today, as a counsellor and mental health advocate, Felicia uses her lived experience to help others find strength, healing, and a path forward after trauma and incarceration.
Join us for an evening of raw honesty, courage, and hope — in support of the Wagga Women’s Health Centre, a local, independent womens health service providing free counselling, health care and wellbeing programs for women across the Wagga Wagga. Funds raised will help ensure women continue to have access to safety, connection, and support when they need it most.
Tickets available via the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre website."
