The Mayor, Robin Laubaugh, will address the audience on behalf of the City of Wadsworth. Megan Harvey, Executive Director of Main Street Wadsworth will be recognizing the downtown area as a National Historic District. Finally, a large plaque memorializing E. J. Young, the founder of the Ohio Companies (Ohio Match, Ohio Injector, Ohio Boxboard and Ohio Salt Companies) will be unveiled. At 8:30 PM, St. Mark’s Church, Wadsworth United Methodist Church, Trinity United Church of Christ, Wadsworth City Hall, and the Johnson House Museum will toll their bells 13 times in honor of the thirteen original colonies.
