Each year we hold an event to bring our community together to think about the ways in which we can support our ambition for zero suicides in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The theme for this year's event is “Changing the Narrative on Suicide”
This year's Towards Zero event will take place on Thursday 13th November 2025 at the Royal Cornwall Showground. Tea and coffee will be served from 09:00 and the event will start at 09:45 until 16:00
We have a full and varied agenda including presentations and workshops from Sunrise Cornwall, PAPYRUS, Akumen Artificial intelligence, Cornwall Foundation Trust Self harm and suicide preventin team, Cornwall MIND and Two Bays Trust with wellbeing activities and breaks throughout the day to browse the marketplace of organisations with a wealth of advice and information.
We all have a role to play in reducing the stigma around mental health and in developing the services and support that will make a real difference in people’s lives.
During the event refreshments of tea/coffee and a light lunch will be provided.
