- **Event Description**: The 740 bed hospital, was mainly a general hospital with maternity and neuro psychiatric wards, situated within the grounds of Nocton Hall in Lincolnshire. Nocton Hall itself has a history of hauntings, including the sobbing ghost of a murdered servant girl and it's own grey lady. Unfortunately the hall is in ruins after repeated vandalism and a fire in 2004. The hospital was first opened in June 1947 and was used by forces personnel, their families and local residents until the closure of the base on the 31st March 1983. In 1984 the hospital was leased the the American Air Force, during the Gulf war 1,300 US medical staff were sent to Nocton, although this was reduced to 13 before the lease was handed back on the 30th September 1995.
The grey lady is thought to be the spirit of a nurse and is seen dressed in a grey uniform, gliding through the corridors and through walls. Ghostly soldiers and a screaming child have also been sighted, along with mysterious footsteps, slamming doors, whispering voices and unexplained music have also been witnessed. A male figure has been seen in the vicinity of the X ray department by numerous visitors, and has been known to follow people along the corridors with apparent curiosity. 

The team investigated Nocton RAF hospital back December 2024. During that investigation there was Rem Pod activity , the music box went off in the Xray department on command, and the cat balls were also used as a way to communicate with the spirits there. During filming a female voice was heard saying 'help me' and some of the team felt that they were being followed by a shadow like figure in the corridors.  This venue has always been very active and we cant wait to return ....So what will the Project Paranormal UK team encounter on their return to Nocton Hospital, we will soon find out :)
