- **Event Description**: Unlock the restorative and therapeutic benefits of a mindful connection with nature.About this EventTimed to begin before sunset, we will meet at Old Field Preserve in Waccabuc to share a seated meditation in LLT’s Meditation Garden. We will experience the changing color of the sky and anticipate the rise of the full moon. Dedicating focus to each of the five senses, especially while outdoors, will help participants unify and balance their energy with the natural world.This program is led by Catherine Downs, a Reiki Master Teacher and a certified Forest Therapy Guide from ANFT. This program is limited to 20 attendees. We recommend sturdy shoes, appropriate layers, and water. Attendees should also bring something to sit on — a blanket, cushion, beach chair, camp chair — and perhaps a hat (or any other props) for additional comfort during the seated meditation. Steady rain or other inclement weather will cancel.The entrance to Old Field Preserve is on the East side of Mead Street (at the intersection of Schoolhouse Road) in Waccabuc.
