- **Event Description**: Bei Joe Krieg & The Crazy PandemiXx trifft das eingespielte Trio auf einen der profiliertesten deutschen Jazzposaunisten: Felix Fromm. Der vielfach ausgezeichnete Musiker studierte Jazzposaune sowie Arrangement und Komposition in Mannheim und Köln und war bereits während seines Studiums Leadposaunist im Bundesjazzorchester unter Peter Herbolzheimer. Mit seinem eigenen Sextett gewann er den renommierten internationalen Jazzwettbewerb im spanischen Getxo.

Seit 2018 ist Fromm Professor für Jazzposaune und Ensembleleitung an der Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, seit 2021 gehört er außerdem fest zur hr-Bigband. Als international gefragter Musiker verbindet er technische Brillanz mit großer stilistischer Offenheit und einer ausgeprägten improvisatorischen Handschrift.

Gemeinsam mit Joe Krieg an der Gitarre, Felix Himmler am Bass und Uli Kleideiter am Schlagzeug entsteht ein hochkarätiger Jazzabend zwischen ausgefeilten Arrangements, energetischem Zusammenspiel und spontaner Improvisation. Die Konzertreihe von Joe Krieg & The Crazy PandemiXx lebt dabei gerade von der Begegnung mit wechselnden Gästen – und bietet mit Felix Fromm diesmal einen besonderen musikalischen Dialog auf Augenhöhe.
