Pine Needle Basket Class

Join us in the Pine Needle Basket Class on March 7th 10 AM to 3 PM here at Sequoyah Birthplace Museum. The cost of the class is $30 per person and materials are included. Space is limited to 10 people for each class. Call to register and pay for the class. No children under 15yeard old. No refunds unless we can fill the spot.
Tonya Dockery is a life-long resident of Tellico Plains, TN. She travels the Southeast doing programs and teaching pine needle and coil baskets, corn shuck dolls, beadwork, and finger weaving and living history that portrays the lifestyle of the Appalachian families between the time period of the late 1700’s-early 1800’s.
