- **Event Description**: Join us on the first Saturday of every month for our monthly volunteer work parties to help improve and appreciate our native habitats! ?
 
We debuted our new monthly work parties at Anstine Nature Preserve in December by planting over 200 new native plants on the Overlook Trail!

For this event, we will start the new year by maintaining the space around these new plants with invasive plant removal and watering. Additionally, to help showcase where the new plants are, we will have a rock painting activity. Volunteers are welcome to join for one or both activities.

The Overlook Trail is on the north end of the preserve and gives a beautiful view of the different habitat types found on the preserve's 11.6 acres. Whether you're stopping by for just a bit, or helping us during the whole morning, take time to enjoy the outdoors!
