about Kerstin Perski
Kerstin Perski
Kerstin is one of Sweden’s most prominent playwrights, librettists, and authors. Her artistic career spans several decades, encompassing everything from poetry and plays to prose and music drama.
Perski has achieved significant international success, particularly as librettist. She has written numerous opera librettos, collaborating with leading composers such as Karin Rehnquist, Hans Gefors, and  (as you will learn during this talk) Paula af Malmborg Ward. 
About Paula af Malmborg Ward
Paula is one of Sweden’s most versatile composers. With a background as a music teacher and studies in composition at the Malmö Academy of Music, she has created a broad spectrum of works ranging from opera and orchestral music to chamber music and film scores. 
Her music is characterized by a desire to blur the boundaries between genres, often blending "high and low" art with influences from both classical traditions and popular music. Among her most acclaimed work is the full-length opera Mytomania, which premiered at the Gothenburg Opera in 2023, an opera which – incidentally – had a libretto by Kerstin Perski.
