A Walking Séance and a book signing-Silver Terrace, Virginia City’s Cemetery

The Walking Séance is held Saturday and Sunday-October 3 and 4, October 10 and 11. 10am and 1pm Summoning on all days.

The Widow of Silver Terrace will guide you and conduct the Walking Séance. The ghosts of the cemetery will rise from the ground, some in their burial clothes, to greet you. They will share their stories of life and death as the Widow tethers them to this earth. ($15 for adults, $10 for children)

A book signing with the author: only on 10/3 and 10/10 following the afternoon 1pm séance.

Virginia City’s Silver Terrace Cemetery is not a weird place, but a place for quiet reflection, a place to profoundly understand the tapestry of humanity that connects every one of us. In “Sleeping on the Hill” author Janice Oberding explores the forgotten, shares their stories, and gives names to the nameless.
