Entry Fees: Adults-$40, Youth under 16 - $20. Entry fee is paid using a debit or credit card. Anglers must download the app and register under tournament name VBAC Red Drum Classic. See FishDonkey instructions appendix. Tournament registration ends at 6:00pm on Friday September 18th, 2026. Scoring: The tournament scoring is based on length. Winners are awarded based on the length of qualifying fish (per division and category) caught by the angler during the 24-hour period. No measuring devices will be issued. All anglers must provide their own measuring device. Pictures should include the entire fish, with the nose of the fish at 0 and the tail of the fish along the measuring device numbers (inches). Judges reserve right to disqualify any fish where the length is not determinable. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH FISHDONKEY. Eligible fish: Red Drum, Bluefish, Sea Mullet. Anglers are responsible for: Providing all equipment, bait, and tackle required to participate in the event. Having all appropriate licenses, passes/stickers, parking fees/permits, and observing/knowing all applicable fishing regulations, size limits, and published VBAC rules. All participants registered for the RDC Tournament assume all risks while fishing or volunteering for the event and will not hold the Virginia Beach Anglers Club liable for injury or otherwise. Anglers are responsible for following all regulations for access at Little Island State Park, Back Bay Wildlife Refuge and False Cape State Park. Anglers shall follow these rules: The RDC Tournament is an Individual Tournament. Scores are kept individually. Anglers may only have 3 lines in the water at any given time. Float rigs, balloons, plastic bags, or cast nets are prohibited and will result in disqualification. Chumming or chum pots are prohibited and result in disqualification. Only two hooks are allowed on one line at any time apart from two double hooked rigs, and artificial lures with hooks according to manufacturer’s specifications. All tournament fish must be caught on hook or lure and landed on the beach by the angler. No lines permitted in the water prior to starting time. All lines in at the stopping time. Any fish hooked prior to end of the session qualifies if landed. Anglers will fish within the boundaries of the designated fishing area. Northern boundary Dam Neck Base fence Southern boundary North Carolina state line fence. If an angler is unable to physically cast for themselves, the angler must identify a designated caster in writing before fishing begins. Award categories without a scoring fish will not be awarded to an angler. No submission accepted after 4:00pm Saturday September 19th. Prizes Prizes: Based on length. Max 1 prize category per angler.
