My Prayers & My Potential

Join us for a discussion with our wonderful special guest speaker, Rev. Eric Eldritch, presenting My Prayers and My Potential: Balancing a Personal Devotional Practice Within a Loving and Chaotic World.

This session will open a discussion of the UUA source: "Spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature.”

We will:
• discuss our responsible fulfillment of a Personal Devotional Practice in balance with service to our community
• explore common vehicles for ritual devotion: meditating, journeying, drumming, dancing, shrouding, divination and prayer
• consider views of the Divine as One and Many
• consider relating to Spirit as Male, Female, all genders, beyond gender.
