This Fall and Winter the Kempsville Recreation Center is partnering with the Back Bay Amateur Astronomers Club to provide residents with a fun and interactive introductory series on the wonders above. Classes are two part - in class instructional, followed by a stroll outside to look up and see the night skies through telescopes provided. (Weather permitting)

The outdoor portion of the event is weather permitting

- Outdoor observing through telescopes
- Various night sky targets will be viewed outside

- Reservations are required. Class fee $5 per person- center membership or day pass is required, or a qualifying insurance membership such as Silver Sneakers.

- PLEASE NOTE: PARTICIPANTS UNDER THE AGE OF 10 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
