9AM First Landing State Park. 6-7 Miles. ~3.5 MPH (~17min/mile).

9 AM Sunday. We leave promptly at 9:01 and get moving! Meet up behind the Food Lion @ 2817 Shore Dr Virginia Beach, VA 23451. SE corner of the rear parking lot. (GPS 36.911568, -76.066089) . Expected 6-7 miles, ~ 2 hours. First part is about 30 min (1.75 mi) from the Rite-Aid parking lot to the Trail Center. The other 3-4 miles will be looping around the various trails. Speed: Walking with intent to be challenging (i.e. not strolling). We will be making a stop at the Vistor/Trail center on the way in, and the way out. The Food Lion is also a great place to make a pit-stop before the hike. Hope to see you there!
