A simple, feel-good way to start the holiday with your neighbors and friends!The 5K welcomes everyone — walkers, runners, rollers, kids on bikes or scooters, strollers, and well-behaved dogs. It’s an easygoing, all-ages event that celebrates community and movement before the day’s festivities begin.Each year, the trot grows stronger — a reflection of the spirit of inclusion we’re building together. This year, we’re partnering with local sponsors to help raise even more funds beyond registration fees. Proceeds from the 2025 event will benefit SEEN, a Hampton Roads nonprofit giving the Gift of Rest to families experiencing cancer and disabilities. SEEN creates spaces of belonging through accessibility, advocacy, and community connection – reminding every family that they are not alone and that they are truly SEEN.
