It's hard to believe it's August, the children are back in school in Calcasieu, Beauregard and other Parishes around the state.
Each August we start working on our annual fundraiser and this month will be no different. The committee will meet on Saturday, August 30 at 9:00 a.m. to start working on the event. Please watch in your email, snail mail or even texts of the event and where the event will be held. The venue will probably change but will know more after the August 30 meeting, at which time we will post and send out our SAVE THE DATE letters. We are going to be working on the ability to purchase tickets and tables online, but some things have to be worked out to make sure this is able. Nonetheless, mark your calendars for March 28 2026 for A Night to Remember. More information to come.
If you want to truly get involved and help with the event, we encourage you to show up at the August 30 meeting. We have our MC, sound, Cadets, auctioneers and others ready to go, just ironing out our guest speaker. The speakers we've had the past 2 years were totally incredible!!! People still talk about both of them. I consider them a God's thing. what we needed to hear.
Also will be accepting donations for LIVE auction items. Trips, vacation spots, guns, etc. Now is the time to start thinking so we can have these items in place.
Thanks to everyone who made ANTR so successful this past year. Too many to name but God knows who they are.
