- **Event Description**: Join the Atlanta Autism Consortium on March 31st for the free virtual program, "Implementing a Statewide Telehealth Autism Diagnostic Model in Partnership with Early Intervention: Outcomes and Stakeholder Experiences."

This presentation will highlight the Early Diagnostic Response Model (EDRM), a telehealth autism assessment initiative developed in partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health and Emory University to provide timely diagnostic evaluations for young children identified as high-risk on autism screening within Babies Can’t Wait. We will share research findings on program outcomes and implementation, along with panel perspectives from DPH staff, BCW providers, parents, and community psychologists regarding their experiences, strengths of the model, and ongoing challenges.

The AAC will be joined by Allison Schwartz, PhD, a licensed psychologist, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University, and Director of the Assessment Core; Rachel Eloy, a second-year Master of Public Health student at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a Research Project Coordinator in the CAARE Lab at the Emory Autism Center; and Lexi Edwards, a a second-year Master of Public Health candidate in Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a Research Project Coordinator in the CAARE Lab at the Emory Autism Center.
