Freestyle dancing with a touch of mind-body awareness. Welcome to our lovely community! 

We combine an intense dance workout and a bright dance session at the same time. Expect beats that make you move & sweat during this 2 hours workout that trains your heart and lifts your spirit.

Dancing together can spark happiness - but it doesn't have to. As always, but on this day specifically, you are invited to bring all emotions to our dance floor, even the heavy ones. 

When did we stop seeing each others' real emotional state? When did we stop grieving together? Rituals and dancing with grief are as old as human mankind but our society seems to have forgotten. 

'El Dia de Los Muertos'... the day to remember and celebrate loved ones that are no longer with us in their human form. You're invited to bring grief but also sorrow, heartache,... A relationship that took a wrong turn, a wish that is unreachable,... Moving with these feelings, being seen and supported by the group can be a surprising healing step in your process. One you didn't know you needed. 

Before you think this will be a pitty party - I promise you it won't :). If you manage to fully surrender, this can be a deeply transformative journey in which gratitude for what has been and love for what's to come take the upper hand.

P.S.: This practice is wonderful to process grief through dance. Be aware though that if your grief is too recent and therefor too raw to process, this is a very difficult task and you may want to dance with something a little lighter. 

P.P.S.: Your privacy is everything. You NEVER have to share in words what or who you danced with. Tell us with your dance how you feel and talk to me after the dance if you feel stuck or need someone to listen to what has been stirred up. 

P.P.P.S.: It is not up to the other dancers to comfort someone who is processing in their own way. However, if you notice someone is in need of assistance during the dance, come tell me. 


GOLDEN PRINCIPLES:
- We live by mutual consent and respect
- This is an all-inclusive safe dance space. Everyone is welcome. No judgement. Camera's and phones are not invited into the dance space.
- Sober event
- No talking during the session. Use body language!
- We dance bare foot, on socks or dance shoes.
Help us create a safe space for all. If you notice that these principles are not followed, please speak up.

TIME - 19h30 - 21h30
Doors open at 19h15 & close at 19h45 - Please respect this time frame so that the crew at the door can dance with us.

ENTRANCE - 25 euro at the door, 20 euro online (the online sale ends at 19h00). Discounted early bird tickets for 15 euro online only.

ADDRESS - Louis Brentastraat 1, 1800 Vilvoorde.
Free parking in front of the venue. Entrance is on the parking lot between Cantine and Ecoworks.

BRING - wear comfortable clothes and bring your own water bottle.
