-  Session 1: May 9 - Making half-square triangles and cutting fabrics
- Session 2: May 23 - Assembling the quilt top and adding borders

Fabric Requirements

- ½ yard each of 6 different colors
- 2½ yards background fabric
- 1 yard border fabric

Backing:

- 5 yards of 44/45" wide backing or
- 2¼ yards of 108" wide backing

Optional / Highly Recommended Tools

- 6½" square ruler
- Iron
- Wool pressing mat
- Rotary cutter
- Small self-healing cutting mat
- Masking tape or washi tape (great for marking rulers and keeping consistency)

Instructor: Debbie Landers
With over 50 years of sewing experience, Debbie brings a deep love and knowledge of quilting to every class. Her background includes garment construction, tailoring, heirloom sewing, machine embroidery, digitizing, and quilting. A Vilonia resident for over 35 years, Debbie is passionate about teaching in a fun, supportive environment and helping students understand not just the “how,” but the “why” behind great quilting. Outside the sewing room, she enjoys time with her husband, three grown children, and two grandchildren.
