- **Event Description**: 🇱🇹 Rugsėjo 16 d. 18.00 val. Vilniaus choralinėje sinagogoje įvyks išskirtinis Vilnius Shalom Festival koncertas „Šofaro malda“, kviečiantis klausytojus į jautrią muzikinę kelionę, kurioje susilies senosios žydų tradicijos, malda ir šiuolaikinė koncertinė muzika.

Programą atliks:
•	Bar Zemach – valtorna, šofaras (Izraelis / Vokietija)
•	Yevgenii Musijets – bajanas (Ukraina)
•	Tadas Daujotas – šofarai

Koncerto metu skambės tradicinė žydų muzika, Izraelio kompozitorių kūriniai bei improvizacijos šofarui – vienam seniausių pasaulyje muzikos instrumentų, kurio garsas jau tūkstančius metų lydi žydų tautos maldą, šventes ir svarbiausias istorines akimirkas.
Unikalus šofaro, valtornos ir bajano skambesys sukurs ypatingą muzikinę atmosferą, kviečiančią sustoti, įsiklausyti ir patirti gilų dvasinį šio instrumento simbolizmą.

🎶 Vilnius Shalom Festival – trečiasis tarptautinis žydiškos muzikos ir kultūros festivalis, vykstantis Šiaurės Jeruzale vadinamame Vilniuje. Rugsėjo 13 – spalio 7 dienomis jūsų laukia klasikinės, džiazo ir klezmerio muzikos koncertai, Šofarų maršas bei edukaciniai renginiai.

🇬🇧 The Prayer of the Shofar

On September 16 at 6:00 PM, the Vilnius Shalom Festival will present a special concert, “The Prayer of the Shofar,” at the Vilnius Choral Synagogue. The concert will invite listeners on a moving musical journey where ancient Jewish traditions, prayer, and contemporary concert music come together.

The program will be performed by:

•	Bar Zemach – French horn, shofar (Israel/Germany)
•	Yevgenii Musijets – bayan (Ukraine)
•	Tadas Daujotas – shofars

The concert program will feature traditional Jewish music, works by Israeli composers, and improvisations for the shofar — one of the world’s oldest musical instruments, whose sound has accompanied Jewish prayer, celebrations, and important historical moments for thousands of years.

The unique combination of shofar, French horn, and bayan will create a special musical atmosphere, inviting the audience to pause, listen, and experience the deep spiritual symbolism of this instrument.

🎶 Vilnius Shalom Festival is the third international festival of Jewish music and culture, held in Lithuanian capital Vilnius, a city often referred to as the Jerusalem of the North. From September 13 to October 7, enjoy a rich program of classical, jazz, and klezmer concerts, the Shofar March, and educational events.
