This time we are going to the City center. This tour is dedicated to everyone, who wants to see the most important places in the heart of the city. You will see the Prison, the National Library , some street art and something more. You will learn about the most important figures in Lithuanian history and how they have shaped our history. Or how the history have shaped themselves. Some stories will be really sad, some will give you hope and one story will be really funny. Why? Because, haven't the Romans said: "ridendo dicere verum"? The tour will last around an hour and a half. There will be time to ask the guide any questions afterwards, to chat or grab some coffee

?Meeting location: entrance of Lukiškės prison, Lukiškių skg.6 
?Meeting time: Sunday 21th of June. 14:00 for Russian language group, 16:00 for English language group.

No registration or tickets are required. This is a part of a series of tours „I Do It Anyways“ that will be organized regularly exploring different regions and neighborhoods of Vilnius. This tour is organized by a friend and a volunteer of language club "Kalba Kartu", Edvinas Palujanskas, who will host many tours around Vilnius on a variety of subjects. The tour is completely free (and will stay that way). If you enjoyed it and feel like supporting your guide, donations are appreciated.

На этот раз мы отправляемся в центр города. Этот тур посвящён всем, кто хочет увидеть самые важные места в сердце города. Вы увидите Тюрьму, Национальную библиотеку, уличное искусство и кое-что ещё. Вы узнаете о самых значимых фигурах в истории Литвы и о том, как они формировали нашу историю. Или как история формировала их самих. Некоторые истории будут по-настоящему грустными, некоторые подарят надежду, а одна окажется очень смешной. Почему? Ведь не зря же римляне говорили: "ridendo dicere verum"? Тур продлится около полутора часов. После него у вас будет время задать гиду любые вопросы, поболтать или выпить кофе.
