Jazz Cellar 11 klube - du išskirtiniai „Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble“ koncertai. Šiemet jų albumas “Odd Numbers” gavo M.A.M.A “Metų džiazo” apdovanojimą ir būtent ši programa ir nuskambės klubo scenoje. 
 
Šis, kol kas ambicingiausias JJAZZ projektas tai muzikinė kelionė, kurioje susipina fusion, minimalizmas, tradicinis džiazas, funkas, rokas, psichodelika, techno ir elektronika. Spalvinga žanrų sintezė perteikiama per unikalius kiekvieno kompozitoriaus kūrinius, tuo pačiu išlaikant išskirtinį JJAZZ skambesį. 
 
Paklaustas kaip apibūdintų JJAZZ koncertus, ansamblio vadovas, kompozitorius, aranžuotojas ir trombonininkas Jievaras Jasinskissako:
„Aš nuoširdžiai tikiu, kad džiazo koncerte galima nuklysti ir į egzistencializmą, paieškas ir į šokį, juoką. Koncertas gali turėti platų emocinį spektrą, o kadangi turime tiek skirtingų asmenybių, tai net neišvengiama. Tačiau turiu pripažinti, kad šioje programoje netrūks trankios, ritmingos roko tamsos”.

Ansamblis Lietuvai prisistatė 2022 m. pabaigoje, kai atidarė Vilniaus miesto 700 gimtadienio šventę ir tapo Donato Ulvydo kuriamo filmo „Vilniaus Pokeris“ muzikos atlikėjais bei bendraautoriais. Nuo to laiko JJAZZ surengė daugiau nei 80 koncertų Lietuvoje ir užsienyje. Muzika skambėjo ne tik Lietuvos miestų ir miestelių džiazo festivaliuose bet ir ant įspūdingiausių scenų, tokių kaip liepos 6-osios renginys Katedros aikštėje ar „Jaunas kaip Vilnius“ festivalis Vingio parke. 

Kolektyvas sukūrė ir pristatė autorinę programą kartu su Šv. Kristoforo kameriniu orkestru ir buvo pakviesti koncertuoti vieno didžiausių Danijos džiazo festivalių “Aarhus Jazz” scenoje.

At Jazz Cellar 11 – two special concerts by the Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble. This year their album “Odd Numbers” received the M.A.M.A. “Jazz of the Year” award, and this very program will be performed on the club stage.


This ambitious JJAZZ project is a musical journey intertwining fusion, minimalism, traditional jazz, funk, rock, psychedelia, techno, and electronics. This vibrant genre synthesis is conveyed through the distinct works of each composer, all while maintaining the signature JJAZZ sound.

When asked to describe JJAZZ concerts, the ensemble’s leader, composer, arranger, and trombonist Jievaras Jasinskis, said:
“I truly believe a jazz concert can venture into existentialism, exploration, and also dance and laughter. A concert can offer a broad emotional spectrum, and with so many diverse personalities in our group, it’s inevitable. However, I must admit this program won’t lack energetic, rhythmic rock darkness.”

The ensemble made its debut in Lithuania at the end of 2022, opening the celebration of Vilnius’ 700th anniversary and contributing as performers and co-authors of the soundtrack for Donatas Ulvydas’ film Vilniaus Pokeris. Since then, JJAZZ has performed over 80 concerts in Lithuania and abroad. Their music has resonated not only at jazz festivals across Lithuanian towns and cities but also on grand stages such as the July 6th event at Cathedral Square and the Young as Vilnius festival in Vingis Park.

The collective also created and performed an original program with the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra and was invited to perform at one of Denmark’s largest jazz festivals, Aarhus Jazz.
