New Viaggio is a programme inspired by works that have become the accordion icon’s calling card. Waltz for Nicky, Viaggio, For Lolo, Romance and other opuses are transformed into a musical novel where the gentleness of a French musette is replaced by the freedom of jazz or the passion of the tango. His 1993 album Viaggio became a turning-point in Galliano’s career – a bridge from the world of Paris’ world of musettes to the international stage of jazz and classical music. This is a reflection of the legendary album in tune with today’s sounds.

“Revisiting the studio recordings, I felt a powerful emotion — a blend of joy and nostalgia. Alternative versions and different takes brought back the creative alchemy I now want to experience together with you,” says Galliano.
