All band members come from various musical backgrounds – Alise Joste (vocals, keys), an accomplished Latvian singer-songwriter, known for her gentle and ethereal vocals, Karlis Josts (vocals, synths) and Aleksis Lurins (bass) who have been members of various local indie and alternative bands, and Janis Burmeisters (drums), who for two decades has been actively involved in the Latvian underground metal scene.
