Kapela Kotra lapkričio 12 d., trečiadienį, kviečia visus į folkmuzikos ir šokių šventę Miesto Laboratorijoje! Įėjimas nemokamas, tačiau rekomenduojama 5 eurų auka.

„Kapela Kotra“ – tai Vilniuje įsikūrusi baltarusių ir australų liaudies muzikos grupė, atliekanti tradicinę instrumentinę ir vokalinę muziką iš Baltarusijos, Ukrainos, Lietuvos ir Lenkijos, skirtą klausytis ir šokti. „Kapela Kotra“ dirba su ** a. pradžios lauko įrašų repertuaru, aranžuodama šias senas melodijas taip, kad išsaugotų istorinę autentiškumą, bet kartu pateiktų šviežią, gyvą interpretaciją.

Dabartinis grupės projektas – Baltarusijos litvakų muzikos, įrašytos Sofijos Magid, Susmano Kiselgofo ir Inos Nazinos etnomuzikologinėse kolekcijose, tyrimas, interpretacija, aranžavimas ir atlikimas.

Kapela Kotra would like to invite everyone to an autumn celebration of folk music and dance at Miesto Laboratorija, on Wednesday 12th November! Free entry / suggested donation €5.

Kapela Kotra is a Vilnius-based Belarusian-Australian folk band performing traditional instrumental and vocal music from Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland, for listening and dancing. Kapela Kotra works with repertoire from early 20th century field recordings, arranging these old melodies in a manner that retains historical authenticity whilst presenting a fresh, vibrant interpretation.

The band’s current project is the research, interpretation, arrangement and performance of Litvak music from present-day Belarus, recorded in the ethnomusicological collections of Sofia Magid, Susman Kiselgof and Ina Nazina.
