Vilniaus etninės kultūros centras, akylai sekdamas besisukantį metų ratą, kviečia drauge stabtelėti ryškiausiuose jo taškuose – jau rugsėjo 22 d. atkeliausiantį lygiadienį raginame atrasti laiko pasinerti į rudens grožį ir apmąstyti vis labiau artėjantį ramybės metą. 🍂 

Šiemet šį šviesos ir tamsos susidūrimą įprasmins ant Stalo kalno prasiversiančios DURYS, simboliškai išlydėsiančios šviesųjį laiką ir įsileisiančios vėsųjį, ilgais vakarais apdovanosiantį rudenį. Drauge sąmoningai išgyventas laiko persivertimas dovanos šilumos, vilties ir suteiks jėgų pasitikti tamsą, vis ilgesniam ir jaukesniam laikui uždarant namų duris. 

Rudens lygiadienio šventė DURYS vyks rugsėjo 22 d. 19.30 val. Liepsnomis pasipuošiančios skulptūros autoriai Rūta Ona Čigriejūtė ir Rytas Jonas Belevičius. Renginio metu skambės Gailės Vanagienės tekstai, skaitomi Lauryno Janulio. Šokio spektaklį dovanos Vilniaus universiteto Kinetinio teatro trupė ir fakyrų trupė „Viduramžiai LT“. Šventės atmosferą kurti taip pat padės iš žvakių raštus dėliosiantys Vilniaus miesto mokyklų moksleiviai.

Renginį organizuoja Vilniaus etninės kultūros centras ir Vilniaus miesto savivaldybė. Renginio partneris – Vilniaus pilių valstybinio kultūrinio rezervato direkcija. Projektą finansuoja Lietuvos kultūros taryba.

Following the turning wheel of the year, the Vilnius Ethnic Culture Centre invites you to pause together at its most striking milestones. As the autumn equinox approaches, take a moment to immerse yourself in the beauty of the season and reflect on the quiet time ahead. 🍂

This year, the boundary between light and darkness will be marked by the opening of the DURYS (en. Doors) on Stalo Hill—a symbolic farewell to the season of light and a welcome to the cool autumn evenings. Experiencing this transition together will bring warmth, hope, and the strength to embrace the coming darkness as we retreat into our cozy spaces. 

The autumn equinox celebration, DURYS, will take place on September 22 at 7:30 p.m. The sculptures, which will be adorned with flames, are the work of Rūta Ona Čigriejūtė and Rytas Jonas Belevičius. During the event, texts by Gailė Vanagienė will be read by Laurynas Janulis. A dance performance will be presented by the Kinetic Theater troupe of Vilnius University and the “Viduramžiai LT” troupe of fakirs. The atmosphere of the event will also be enhanced by students from Vilnius city schools creating patterns with candles.

The event is organised by Vilnius Ethnic Culture Centre and Vilnius City Municipality. Partner: Vilnius State Castles Cultural Reserve Directorate. The project is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
