Gerai jums pažįstami vardai naujoje kombinacijoje su nauju autoriniu gitaristo ir kompozitoriaus Deimanto Balio projektu. Jazz Cellar 11 klube Deimantas pasirodė su skirtingais projektais - ILLUME, tribute to… Bill Evans ir Sonny Rollins programose, o jo vadovaujama grupė Castor Stetson, kurios albumas ne kartą buvo minimas tarp vienų įdomiausių, yra pasirodžiusi Lietuvos ir užsienio džiazo scenose.
Šį kartą Deimantas pristato savo naują kvartetą, kuris atliks naują, intensyvią ir atmosferišką originalią muziką iš netrukus pasirodysiančio debiutinio albumo. Kvartetas, suburtas specialiai šiai programai, atskleis brandesnį, laisvesnį ir gilesnį Deimanto skambesį, kuriame susitinka džiazas, moderni improvizacija ir subtilios melodinės struktūros.
Senoje D. Balį lydės patyrusi komanda: Aliaksey Kryshtal jau daugybę kartų žavėjęs klubo lankytojus ne tik savo šypsena ir gera energija, bet ir virtuoziškomis improvizacijomis. Kartu su vienu populiariausiu džiazo būgnininku Augustu Baronu jie sudaro nepriekaištingą džiazo komandą. Būtent dėl to juos drąsiai galima vadinti Jazz Cellar 11 klube rezidentais, nes kartu ar atskirai jie yra pragroję su daugybę Lietuvos džiazo žvaigždžių ir, ko gero, didesnė pusė perkamiausių ir populiariausių klubo koncertų neapsieina be jų muzikavimo.

Well-known names return in a new combination, featuring a new original project by guitarist and composer Deimantas Balys. At the Jazz Cellar 11 club, Deimantas has appeared with various projects — ILLUME, the Tribute to… Bill Evans and Sonny Rollins programs — and his ensemble Castor Stetson, whose album has repeatedly been mentioned as one of the most interesting, has performed on jazz stages in Lithuania and abroad.
This time, Deimantas presents his new quartet, which will perform intense, atmospheric original music from his upcoming debut album. The quartet, assembled especially for this program, will reveal a more mature, freer, and deeper side of Deimantas’s sound, where jazz, modern improvisation, and delicate melodic structures meet.
On stage, D. Balys will be joined by an experienced team: Aliaksey Kryshtal, who has dazzled club visitors countless times — not only with his smile and good energy, but also with his virtuosic improvisations. Together with one of the most popular jazz drummers, Augustas Baronas, they form an impeccable jazz duo. This is why they can confidently be called resident musicians of Jazz Cellar 11; together or separately, they have performed with many Lithuanian jazz stars, and it is likely that more than half of the club’s bestselling and most popular concerts would not be the same without their musicianship.
And of course, the club’s regular visitors will instantly recognize the saxophonist Pavel Arakelian, who has brought to life on this stage such saxophone greats as Hank Mobley, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon, and Benny Golson.
