SPANISH & ENGLISH

We are so happy & super proud to welcome Origin Te Yon‘Ton to Spain and Casa by Eri for a magical Drum Birth ceremony Friday the 23rd of October ✨

A 10 hours magical day, a unique and beautiful experience - we are beyond excited! 😍

“Each drum carries a heartbeat long before the first strike.

These gathering are not only about crafting an instrument, but about entering into relationship with it. Throughout the day we work with intention, presence and ritual, giving birth to a companion that will continue walking with you for many years to come.

If you have been feeling the call to create your own drum, I would be honored to share this journey with you” - Origin Te Yon‘Ton

Chimalli-Huehuetl Drum Creation Workshop

Inspired by the Mesoamerican ritual of the Huehuetl floor drum, this workshop offers you the opportunity to create your own Chimalli-Huehuetl drum.

The Chimalli-Huehuetl is a contemporary drum used in ritual dances. "Chimalli" in the Nahuatl language is the shield used by ancient jaguar and eagle warriors, and "Huehuetl" is the ritual drum, giving rise to the design of this type of drum.

The creation and birth process takes 10 hours. Materials are provided: skin, wooden frame, and rope. These vital energies that constitute the drum are called "Tonalli"—the energy and heart of the tree and the animal, fused into a single heart with you.

Contribution varies depending on the diameter:

30cm - €200

40cm - €250

55cm - €300

Please note that sign up is closing the 5th of October, or before if fully booked..spots are limited.
